Gareth is an Insolvency Practitioner who is licensed to take appointment by the Institute of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Beginning his career in the profession in 2002 with a boutique business recovery firm Gareth gained invaluable experience advising individuals and owner managed businesses.
Gareth became one of the youngest qualified insolvency practitioners passing the Joint Insolvency Examination Board examinations in 2006 obtaining his Insolvency license. In 2009 Gareth began taking appointments was appointed to the position of Head of the Business Recovery Division of one of the largest firm of independent accountants in Yorkshire over 5 regional offices.
Gareth specialises in contentious insolvency assignments and has an excellent technical knowledge of insolvency law and procedures which he is able to combine with his commerciality to provide dynamic and tailored solutions to his client’s situation.
Gareth prides himself on his pragmatic and straight-talking approach and his first primary focus is to add value and recover the situation for the key stakeholders. Gareth understands the pressures faced by individuals and businesses when facing financial difficulties and is able to relieve this pressure by talking through the situation and providing clients with a clear understanding of the options available.
