Graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in accounting and finance. Richard has specialised in insolvency and related advice for over 15 years, working at a number of boutique insolvency practices, encompassing both corporate and personal insolvency.
In 2018, Richard passed the Association’s Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency Examination achieving Second Place Distinction amongst his peers. This required a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the new Insolvency Rules 2016, which had only come into effect the previous year in April 2017.
Richard can draw on his depth of experience in many different areas of insolvency and industries when advising directors and individuals or when finding solutions where cases do not follow the normal or the originally anticipated insolvency process.
