Robert Barker
Following his graduation from the University of Salford, Robert worked as a writer and secured a project as a biographer. Once this project was completed, Robert concluded he would need a steady income whilst he worked on his first novel and joined Chamberlain & Co as an office administrator.
As a trainee Robert quickly progressed from office administration to case progression, before departing Chamberlain & Co to take up a new challenge. Robert subsequently progressed to case management, managing both the Harrogate and Bradford offices of a Yorkshire practice, and obtained his Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency.
An opportunity arose to join a national firm’s market leading Administration team in Manchester, with regular exposure to trading and large scale operations. Robert took this opportunity to broaden the breadth of his corporate experience.
Robert has re-joined Chamberlain & Co and brought with him over 10 years of experience in corporate and personal insolvency appointments, as well as a number of informal and advisory engagements. In addition to his case work Robert is also involved in the promotion of Chamberlain & Co’s services and is a member of the BNI.
